EFSE
As the largest microfinance fund worldwide, EFSE is also the first public-private-partnership of its kind.
Public investors, international finance institutions and private investors jointly provide sustainable development finance. Their focus is Southeast Europe, where economies had to be rebuilt from scratch after the war. Via long-term funding instruments provided to local financial institutions EFSE unleashes the economic potential for micro and small enterprises and improves the quality of life for thousands of low-income private households.
